Understanding Microsporidia Parasites

I've been commissioned by the University of Exeter to create a piece that helps explain 'microsporidia parasites'. It's been an ambition of mine, since graduating from the Royal College of Art, to work with scientists, so I am really thrilled to be part of this project.

I've been working with Dr Becky Conners and Dr Bryony Williams, who have patiently explained and showed me the cells, and explained how they fire their anchoring discs into other cells. It's been fascinating to draw the amazing components of these cells to get my head round the cells and how they work.
