This project responded to the collection at Teign Heritage Centre. The technical drawings from the Morgan Giles boat yard in Teignmouth, were the starting point for wire interpretations. These did not attempt to remake the boats, but celebrated the beauty of the linear marks of the drawings themselves. Areas were in filled with enamelled elements with details from documents relating to Teignmouth, including handwritten notes from Morgan Giles family members and company employees maps and logbooks.
